Vintage Design
Originally, the trough was used for kneading and storing baking dough. When not in use, it served as a kitchen table. Today, this provincial charm is one of the main reasons for the decorative value of this authentic piece of furniture, which is ideal for use as a side table or console table.
Made from solid oak, it consists of a frame, the actual baking tray and the lid.
The base consists of four thin, turned legs, which are connected with an H-strut and frame. The tapered, mortised trough rests on top of this, as does the moulded top plate, which protrudes slightly all around.
