Vintage Design
Wilhelm Kienzle (1886 – 1958) was a Swiss interior designer, furniture designer and product designer. He designed the multi-purpose trolley, or back then called “Küchenboy”, in 1954. Production MEWA (Metallwarenfabrik Wädenswil). Manufacturer’s name available. Frame made of black painted aluminum, shelves made of anodized aluminum. The three lower shelves are inserted. The top one can be removed and used as a serving tray. Very good original condition with some patina, in the form of slight paint abrasion and scratches. All in all, the “Kitchen Boy” is in perfect condition. The frame has been polished and all parts have been thoroughly cleaned. The wheels are intact and run well. Designed in 1954 as a practical piece of kitchen furniture, the cart can now also be easily imagined in the office or bathroom. Height 73cm.
