It’s hard to say what kind of wood it is — the table top has been heavily “sun-kissed” over the decades — the shelf, which is clearly visible when disassembled, suggests how much lighter it has become: you can clearly see one here darker wood tone with exciting grain, which is almost reminiscent of rosewood.
In any case, it is a high-quality piece of furniture, solid and heavy – the curved shape and the fine, conical legs still make it appear fine and elegant.
Apart from the severe fading, it is in absolutely good vintage condition
