Swedish 19th century carved birch chest of drawers circa 1880. fine quality swedish 4 drawer chest of drawers. beautifully made in good quality birch, with glowing colour and grain. top surface with moulded edge, fitted with 4 graduating drawers, including the top drawer being fitted with 3 interior pine drawers. each drawer fitted with the original leather escutheon, working locks and key. canted corners with applied carving and beading. raised on front carved legs and block feet to the reverse. 1 replaced back foot. minor surface marks and restorations to veneer. very minor evidence of worm, which has been treated and inactive.
