Modern Multi-Layers Lucite and Chrome Picture Frame, Italy 1980s

This is a beautiful and substantial Italian modern Lucite picture photo frame that was designed in the 1980s. It features an octagonal shape with multilayer Lucite construction, with a transparent color contrasted with a smoke blue-gray tone. The view image is framed with chrome metal. The easel at the back is made of the same chromed metal. An acrylic glass protection is present to hold the photograph in position. There is no visible maker’s mark.
Good condition, with minor wear on the Lucite, but nothing obvious.
Measurements: 12 in wide (30.5 cm) x 1.57 in deep (4 cm) x 12 in high (30.5 cm).
Opening (picture size): 4.32 in wide (11 cm) x 4.32 in high (11 cm).
