Maison Mercier Paris, Tortoiseshell Lucite and Chrome Box, 1970s

This elegant 1970s rectangular-shaped decorative lidded box was designed by the Parisian luxury house Maison Mercier. It features a thick tortoise (tortoiseshell) pattern Lucite or Plexiglass base and chromed metal framing which gives it a sophisticated and modern look. The box is the perfect addition to any space, adding a touch of style and class. There is no visible maker’s mark.
Good condition, with minor wear on the metal, but nothing obvious.
