D. 1994 Irving Kriesberg Large Oil on Canvas Titled “Pursuit”

Large oil on canvas by listed Figurative Expressionist artist Irving Kriesberg, titled “Pursuit” and dated ‘94. Early in his career, Kriesberg was included in The Museum of Modern Art’s 1950s exhibition “15 AMERICANS” along with Jackson Pollack, Mark Rothko, and Clyfford Still. His work is in the permanent collections of MOMA, the Whitney, and the National Museum of Art. Oriented vertically, we feel this painting also works well when hung horizontally (final image).
