Art Deco Wood and Chrome Box, France 1930s

This is a beautifully decorative lidded box with a modernist design crafted in France circa the 1930s. It follows the typical Art Deco style with a minimalist rectangular shape and is made of varnished tropical woods adorned with chromed metal geometric decorations on the lid. Although there is no visible maker’s mark, it is a stunning piece of artwork.
