Vintage Design
A very handsome and extremely comfortable mid-19th century, early Victorian period walnut library armchair. The upholstered back sits above two upholstered arms with an upholstered seat. The chair frame is solid walnut with fluted turned spindle arm supports. The generous-sized frame offers a comfortable seat and ample back support. All are raised on turned, fluted, and carved legs with casters. The walnut frame is very well-made, sturdy, and sound with only some light superficial wear, as expected from a chair of this age. The upholstery is in very good and clean condition. The chair seat height is 39cm.
