Vintage Design
A late 18th-century George III period painted mahogany chest on chest of modest proportions. It features a moulded dental cornice above 2 short and 6 long, cockbeaded graduated drawers, all lined in oak and fitted with original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons. Brushing slide. The chest stands on original ogee shaped bracket feet and dates to around 1780 in England. This George III painted chest on chest boasts a great colour and patina, making it a solid piece of furniture suitable for any period home. It also breaks in half for easy transport.
