Vintage Design
A charming 17th-century Charles II Jacobean oak geometric chest of drawers with great colour and patina. It features a rectangular planked top with a moulded edge, above two small and three long graduated oak-lined drawers with geometric moulding. The drawers are adorned with brass drop handles, escutcheons, and locks, and the chest is raised on later bun feet. The original planked back and panelled sides add to its authenticity. This piece exhibits an outstanding rich warm colour and patina. Made in England circa 1680.
