Kitchen table hand-crafted in Central Italy in the early 1800s using walnut and pegged construction. The table has a beautiful warm, deep amber color and features a single drawer inset on the front of the flat apron. The drawer shows beautiful hand-made dovetail joints. The top features three long boards with rounded edges, pegged to the apron. Some age cracks can be seen as well as a few discolorations (pictured). The table sits on hand-turned legs ending with bun feet. The legs are connected with an I stretcher.
Overall this is a very simple, elegant, and practical table that can be used both as a kitchen table to prep food and eat or as a writing desk.

Tight and stylish desk from the 1960s in teak and legs in oak.

The desk has six drawers with brass handles and the top drawers with locks.

The tabletop has edges on three sides that go up past the tabletop. It is practical and prevents anything from sliding off the table. The front edge of the tabletop has a gently curved profile and makes it easy to “get close” to the desk.

The desk has a spacious bookshelf behind it where binders and other things can be stored. Perfect to have everything gathered at the desk, especially if there is no room for a traditional bookshelf.

The legs and the leg stand are in oak and the combination of teak and oak provides a nice and typically Danish contrast that raises the expression of the furniture to another level! In addition, the combination makes it easy to combine with other furnishings in both types of wood!
The legs are round and tapered and easy to disassemble for transport.

The cockpit is so substantial and wide that even a rocking chair can fit under the desk.

A key is included with the desk.

Mid-Century freestanding architect oak wooden writing desk. Designed by the Norwegian designers Clausen and Maerus during the 1960s for Eden Rotterdam/Amsterdam. The top of this beautiful architectural writing desk features three nice storage cabinets via three sliding doors. The desk also offers three additional drawers underneath the top at the writers side and extra two open storage spaces on the other side.
This presidential desk is a real eye-catcher in a well preserved vintage condition with minor wear consistent its age and use.
