A pair of 20th-century Italian square wicker rattan lounge armchairs, handcrafted by The Wicker Works in Italy. These classic square-back models feature gracefully straight hardwood frames covered with woven rattan stick wicker by artisans in Italy. The frames are constructed with hardwood and pole rattan, also covered with woven rattan wicker. The seats are bordered by decorative braided rattan trim. The quality cushions are in need of new upholstery. The rattan exhibits a desirable aged patina on the finish, showcasing excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The chair seat height is 39 cm.
