Vintage Design
An untouched early 19th-century Georgian mahogany desk armchair. This chair features a pierced arched top rail carved with acanthus leaves and scrolls, while the bar backs showcase shaped splats adorned with beautiful hand-carved decoration. The distinctive broad reeded scrolled arms add to its elegance. The upholstered seat is covered in genuine Burgundy leather. The square carved front apron is set between a pair of chamfered shoulders, supported by tapering reeded front legs and swept rear legs. The chair displays a desirable aged patina throughout. The seat height is 49 cm.
