Dial: The superb white enamel dial with Roman numerals outer minute track with Arabic five minute markers. The subsidiary dial to record the minutes is at twelve o’clock and the subsidiary second dial is at six o’clock. The original rose gold spade hands together with the original blued steel chronograph hand and matching sub-second dial hands. It is very unusual that the dial is not signed indicating that this could have been a proto-type Gondolo Chronograph made for their Brazilian Agent.
Case: The Large 18ct Rose Gold case with engine turning to the back of the case and round vacant cartouche. The back opens to reveal the inner cover engraved by Patek stating that the watch was expressly made for Gondolo & Labouriau The Brazilian agent. The cases are all Swiss Hallmarked signed and numbered.
Movement: The superb keyless lever movement fully jewelled signed and numbered with micrometer regulation, compensation balance and wide arm lever. The intricate chronograph mechanism is fully visible on the top plate.
This rare and important Pocket watch is very difficult to find with a chronograph mechanism. This watch would make an exceptional addition to one’s collection. The Extract for this watch has been applied for.
