Mid Century Swiss Watercolor Print

This watercolor reproduction depicts the Swiss town of St. Gallen, with the Kathedrale St. Gallen in the center of this print. The Kathedrale is a Catholic abbey built in the 8th century!

German label on the back of frame reads “the male choir of St. Gallen hereby appoints Mr. Ernst Thut to his free passive member in recognition of his proven loyalty and solidarity”. Signed by director and actuary in December 1961. The bottom right corner of the frame has the stamp of Rudolf Raubach Art Gallery in St. Gallen.
